Aha, one of India's leading OTT sites, has launched its Tamil version in Chennai. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu - MK Stalin started the Aha Tamil site. At the inaugural function of the site, popular heroes of Tamil cinema, S.P.Muthuraman, Bharathiraja were present and legends like late A. V. Meiyappan, late K. Balachander and late M. S. Viswanathan were honoured in the event.  

Subsequent releases

On the site, Priyamani's starrer Bhama Kalabam, Ammuchi 2, Ramani vs Ramani 3 are the next big films to be released. GV Prakash and Gautham Menon starrer Selfie, GV Prakash's Ayngaran, Karthi's  Sardar and Venkat Prabhu's Manmadha Leelai have been released after the theatrical release. Actor Simbu and composer Anirudh have been appointed as brand ambassadors who were also present at the launch event.

‘Aha’ ad starring Simbu 

In an advertisement for the Aha site starring Simbu as an auto driver has been released. According to the video, Aha Tamil OTT site has been created with only Tamil movies and web series and the annual subscription is only 365 rupees for a year. The video, which has been released starring Simbu, has been garnering attention on the internet. Aha is already a leading OTT company in Telugu and now has a foothold in Tamil.
