METOO CONTROVERSY: POPULAR TAMIL DIRECTOR THREATENS SIDDHARTH AND HIS FATHER!

As we all know, the MeToo movement is making women come out and share their disturbing sexual harassment experiences. A few of those incidents have been addressed by alleged offenders, like music director Raghu Dixit and actor Karthik TM, who came out and apologized for their behaviour.

As part of this movement, popular poet and independent filmmaker Leena Manimekalai made an allegation against Thiruttu Payale fame director Susi Ganesan. Leena stated that Susi Ganesan locked her up in a car and tried to misbehave when she escaped. However, the Kanthaswamy director denied her statement as a baseless allegation and added that he would be filing a defamation case against her.

Amidst this controversy, actor Siddharth has revealed that Susi Ganesan threatened his aged father and him,and warned them to face consequences if they extend their support to Leena. This tweet from Siddharth has taken people by surprise and shock.

Siddharth tweeted - "#SusiGanesan spoke to my aged father on the phone and threatened us with dire consequences if I continue to stand by Leena. So I just want everyone to know that now more than ever... I Stand With #LeenaManimekalai. Stay strong and fight the good fight sister! #MeToo #TimesUp"
 

Leena apologized to Siddharth for what he had to undergo in this issue. She tweeted, "Really very sorry that your family has to go through this. I dont know what to say more. What a thug this man is. My gratitude to you and your family for standing by me. Lets fight this monster out. And his actions only show how guilty and dirty he is. #metoo⁠ ⁠"
