She was last seen in a recently released short film, Devi that was well-received by the audiences. The actress has Vijay Sethupathi starrer Laabam that is currently awaiting its release. Looks like now Shruti has bagged another interesting role with this Superstar for a remake film.

Yes, she will be next seen in Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab which is the official Telugu remake of the Hindi courtroom-drama, Pink. This upcoming project will be helmed by Sriram Venu and will feature Thaman as the music composer.

Pink was remade in Tamil with Thala Ajith Kumar playing the lead, titled Nerkonda Paarvai, helmed by H. Vinoth. It has been learnt exclusively that Shruti Haasan will be reprising the role of Vidya Balan who had featured as Thala Ajith’s pair. For the unversed, this is not the first time that the actress will be teaming up with Pawan Kalyan. Stay tuned!
