Yesterday Chiyaan Vikram took everyone by surprise by announcing that Bala would be directing the debut film of his son Dhruv Vikram.
Actress Shriya Sharma who is known as a child artist for playing Suriya-Jyothika's daughter in Sillunu Oru Kadhal might play the female lead in this Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy. The talks are on, and she is likely to bag the offer. If things go as planned, Vikram might make the news official in a few days time.

As reported earlier, Vikram's son Dhruv will be making his acting debut with the Tamil remake of recent sensational Telugu film Arjun Reddy.
Now we have an official announcement on who would be directing this new age love story. Yes, it will be director Bala, who gave a much-needed break for Vikram through Sethu. E4Entertainment will be producing this venture.
What better launch could Dhruv get? This is going to be a great learning curve for this smart youngster.
