Amazingly talented actress, Samantha's last outing in Tamil was the Thiagarajan Kumararaja helmed multi-starrer, Super Deluxe which had Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Ramya Krishnan and others in leading roles while Mysskin, Gayathrie, Ashwanth Ashokkumar, and Bagavathi Perumal played the supporting roles. In Telugu, she was paired opposite her real-life husband in the Telugu film, Majili.
Sam had announced her interesting project, Oh Baby and the first look, teaser and the lyrical video of the title track from the film were released earlier and it was well-received by all. Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, the film is inspired by the South Korean film, Miss Granny.
Produced by People's Media Factory, Suresh Productions and Guru Films, the film stars Naga Shaurya, Lakshmi, Rao Ramesh and Snigdha in the lead apart from Sam. The film showcases the story of a 70-year-old grandma who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self.
As promised the makers of the film have released the love song of the film. Titled as Naalo Maimarapu, the song is crooned by Mohana Bhogaraju and the lyrics are penned by Bhaksarabhatla while the music is composed by Mickey J Meyer.
