After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. On October 8, Samantha shared a note to her fans and well wishers about how she was pained with various rumours being spread. She slammed those who are circulating baseless speculations about her having affairs and abortions. Weeks after they made their separation official, Samantha has deleted almost all pictures with Naga Chaitanya on her Instagram profile. Samantha has deleted photos from their wedding and also several others from their holidays together.

Recently, Samantha did the Char Dham yatra with her best friend, Shilpa Reddy. The actress took the spiritual trip where she visited many places including Rishikesh, Badrinath, Kedarnath and Gangotri. She has been sharing many pictures on her Instagram stories. She is now at Dubai with her makeup artist and her stylist Sadhana Singh and Preetham Jukalker.

Meanwhile, Samantha has wrapped up her Telugu biggie 'Shaakuntalam' directed by Gunasekhar. The movie has Dev Mohan, Aditi Balan and Allu Arha playing pivotal roles. She also has her upcoming Tamil film 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' - directed by Vignesh Shivan that stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in lead roles - awaiting release in the big screens soon.
