Vignesh Shivan is currently shooting for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in Hyderabad. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi were already there while now he has welcomed Samantha on to the shoot. Nayanthara is incidentally shooting for Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe as well.
Nayanthara was recently seen in her first OTT release Mookuthi Amman which started to stream from November 14. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film received positive responses.
Other than KRK, Nayan has Netrikann, Annaatthe and a Malayalam film Nizhal in her kitty. The latter sees her pairing up with Kunchacko Boban for the first time.
Nizhal is to be helmed by award-winning editor turned director Appu N Bhattathiri in the latter’s directorial debut. The movie is said to be of the thriller genre.
Nizhal is produced by Anto Joseph along with Abhijith M Pillai, Badusha, Felini TP and Ginesh Jose. The film is written by S Sanjeev. Cinematography is by Deepak D Menon and music by Sooraj S Kurup. Appu will edit the movie alongside Arunlal SP.
Nayanthara’s last Malayalam movie was as the female lead in Nivin Pauly’s Love Action Drama that was released in 2019. Kunchacko, meanwhile, was last seen in Anjaam Paathira, where he played a consulting criminologist helping the police in a serial murder case.
