From an exclusive Behindwoods interview with SA Chandrasekhar, a really interesting trivia cropped up during the interaction and the following is the excerpt from the conversation.

''I very well remember the first day of shooting Naalaiya Theerpu. Vijay was getting ready for the shot and I said, 'Nanbane, ACTION'. Those were the first words he heard before enacting his first ever scene for a film as a hero. Till date, I never address him as Vijay or by any other name. We've always maintained a friendly relationship between each other''.
