Mr. Local is one of the most expected summer releases this year. This comedy stars Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara in lead roles, while a top ensemble featuring Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar Satish and Radikaa Sarathkumar play crucial supporting roles. The film is slated to release on May 17.
Actor Robo Shankar, while speaking at a press conference for the film, the actor took some potshots at the media for not being reciprocative during the press shows. The actor said that " I still do not understand why press screenings are so silent. Velainu Vandhutta Vellakkaran was my only film that the press enjoyed,". He also asked "Do you even maintain silence when you (mediapersons) watch a fun-filled film with your family. Because when the press enjoys a show, the general audience's reaction will be higher."
The actor was interrupted by an induvidual from the crowd while speaking. Upon listening, the comedian remarked "I am a baby, I said without a proper understanding, so please apologize me. I couldn't gauge this issue and asked what was in my mind without prior understanding. Will you accept a baby or not." the actor jovially clarified.
