''I DID NOT WANT TO DISTURB VIJAY SIR. HE WAS VERY EMOTIONAL''

RJ Balaji hosted the fourth year of Behindwoods Gold Medals, which was a star-studded event. We recently caught up with him to know what was his feeling after hosting the event.

When we asked why didn't he ask any questions to Vijay on stage, he told, "Actually, Vijay sir's fans were waiting from 2.00pm in the afternoon to see him. Once he got to the stage, he started to speak and that was the moment everyone waited for. He got emotionally connected to the audience and started to speak about a very important social issue, about farmers.

So I didn't want to disturb Vijay sir at that moment. He was also pleasantly surprised to see the way the wax statue was revealed. Had I asked a question about Vijay 61, or something at that time, it would have totally been a wrong timing. I am glad that the event was pulled off in such a dignified manner."
