Isn’t language a barrier?

“I don’t think so. Thanks to subtitles. But I must agree that sometimes I do miss the essence of the language in comedy scenes and lyrics. Having said that, I present a perspective that not many people would possibly look at in a content while reviewing. As a foreigner, I express the things/elements that impress me. I am completely unbiased”

What attracts reviewers like you towards Tamil cinema?
“I think it's the ‘overall experience’ - the thing that you might not get in a Hollywood movie. In fact, movies from no other industry have so much culture ingrained in it”.

Which is your First Day First Show (FDFS) experience in Tamil Nadu?

“Vishwaroopam. The way audience went crazy with all the shouting, yelling and cheering. My FDFS experience is a memorable one”.

Which summer 2016 release are you looking forward to?

“Theri! The teaser has broken every record. I should say Suriya’s 24 teaser is also good and Rajini is the man undisputedly the audience is going to pursue. For me it’s Theri and then Kabali”
