But according to sources close to us, it has been learnt that any such news are not true and are baseless, and talks regarding the same havent been initiated as of yet. 

After KGF, everyone was very keenly waiting for the sequel - KGF 2. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film features Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles. The team has officially announced that Chapter 2 will be releasing on October 23 this year. The ongoing Coronavirus crisis had impacted the shoot and it is not yet known if the release would be pushed further.

What added more excitement to this upcoming film is the much-hyped character Adheera which will be played by Bollywood star, Sanjay Dutt. The film will also feature Raveena Tandon and Rao Ramesh in prominent roles. The first part showed the rise of Rocky, so the second part may show the fall of his reign.
