SEXIST COMMENT CONTROVERSY: DID NAGA CHAITANYA AND RAKUL LAUGH? FIND OUT...

We had earlier reported about the sexist comment made by actor Chalapathy Rao during a promo event of the Nagarjuna production, Naga Chaitanya-Rakul Preet Singh starrer Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam (RVC) which comes with a tag line ‘Ammayilu aarogyaaniki haanikaram’ which means girls are injurious to health. In the said event, when the MC of the event had asked Chalapathy Rao about this, he had mentioned in Telugu that girls are good for bed.

In the TV footage of this show, there was laughter for this comment from many which had raised a lot of questions.

Replying to this, Naga Chaitanya tweeted, “Respecting women is a way of life for me.The reactions shown on TV weren't for the statement made.Do I agree with it ?Absolutely NOT !”

Rakul Preet Singh also responded, “Apologies 4 a late response 2 #ChalapathiRao comments!wish I understood d exact meanin of it then.I condemn it n my off stmnt wil b out soon. For people who think @chay_akkineni n I ver laughing at those comments , telecast happens at a 5 mins lag n those reactions ver not for it”.
