As usual, since Rajini and Kamal were peers of each other, there were few speculations, that there was rivalry between the two. Rajini, in order to clear air about this rumour, he agreed to ascend the dais to give a speech during the press meet of 'Punnagai Mannan', a film directed by K.Balachander with Kamal as the protagonist.
Rajini's eloquent speech in the press meet about Kamal and his acting, calling him the institution of acting and his acting, the benchmark for the upcoming actors, left the audience spell-bound. Watch the video!
