SPB was being treated for Covid-19. He was said to be in a critical condition, and this caused serious tension for his fans and friends alike. It was only later when the SP Charan confirmed that the singer was recovering and still remained in crucial treatment that everyone could calm down. SPB's image from the hospital of him showing a thumbs up went viral on social media.
