South Superstar Rajinikanth was last seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Petta’ which stunned the audiences and critics alike. He will be next seen in the much-talked about film, Darbar which also features Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar and others in the lead roles. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the film is produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.
The team will see some interesting technical members that include Anirudh Ravichander who will be composing music for the film, whereas Santosh Sivan will be seen handling the camera for Rajinikanth for the first time after Thalapathi (1991). And the cuts of the movie will be handled by Sreekar Prasad.
Touted to be an action thriller, the film has an exciting update for the fans. The team is said to have wrapped up its first schedule at Mumbai and is expected to start off their next schedule towards the end of this month.
‘Darbar’ will be releasing for Pongal 2020 and this movie will mark Rajinikanth's 11th Pongal release. Meanwhile, this is AR Murugadoss' next film after Sarkar that had Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and others in the lead roles.
