'9 (Nine)' featured Prithviraj with Prakash Raj, Mamta Mohandas, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Master Alok in other important roles.
The film was more special for Prithviraj and family because the film marked the debut of Prithviraj Productions. It is also the first regional Indian film to have its production and distribution by Sony Pictures.
Sharing a poster of the shoot announcement which fell on this date April 9 two years back, she says: "Throwback Thursday! Two years ago on this day we started 9! And today we live in a somewhat similar reality of a complete lockdown!"
In the film, a global crisis arises when a comet passes very close to the Earth for 9 days. How this affects astrophysicist Albert Lewis and his son Adam's life forms the story. 9 was released in India and Gulf Cooperation Council territories on 7 February 2019.
