Release date of Prabhu Deva’s Pon Manickavel has been announced – the film will hit the marquee on March 6. It is to be noted that Prabhu Deva will be seen as a police officer for the first time in his career in Pon Manickavel. Directed by AC Mugil Chellappan, Pon Manickavel also stars Nivetha Pethuraj and Suresh Menon, and has music by D Imman.

Besides Pon Manickavel, Prabhu Deva is part of a new project with Advik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara fame. "This is a new film and I have tried several getups. In fact, this is quite challenging and new to me. The first look and the title will be announced on Valentine's Day," Prabhu was quoted as saying regarding the project.
Additionally, Prabhu is also busy with Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai after having directed Sallu Bhai in Dabangg 3.
