POPULAR ACTOR WHO HAD INJURED HIMSELF WHILE SHOOTING FOR MAANAADU, UNDERGOES SURGERY!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsEver since the announcement of STR’s next project - Maanaadu was made, the excitement around this upcoming flick knew no bounds. Right from the ensemble cast to the grand shoot of a song with over 200 dancers, the film was special in many ways.
Now, there were reports doing rounds that popular actor Karunakaran had undergone a surgery after injuring himself while filming for Maanaadu. So, Behindwoods decided to check with the actor himself.
Over the phonic conversation, the actor confirmed that he was hospitalised and indeed underwent for the surgery on his leg. He further stated that he is feeling much better now and has been asked to take two weeks of rest by the doctors.
Meanwhile, Maanaadu is directed by Venkat Prabhu and is produced by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions. Touted to be a political genre movie, the film features Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead while veteran directors SA Chandrasekhar and Bharathiraja, SJ Suryah as villain, Premji Amaren, Aravind Akash amongst others will be seen in prominent roles.
