Ram Setu will be directed by Abhishek Sharma, who has previously helmed films like The Zoya Factor, Parmanu, Tere Bin Laden among others. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who is directing Akshay’s upcoming Prithviraj, is credited as the creative producer on the film.
The movie's shoot was currently underway when recently the 2.0 fame announced that he had contracted the COVID virus. He shared a statement on his social media pages confirming the same.

Many popular celebrities such as Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Alia Bhatt and others have recently tested positive for COVID. Now, it was recently known that actress Nivetha Thomas had also tested COVID positive.
