Poonam Bajwa might be the heroine for Sundar C's Vellimoonga Tamil remake.

We had reported about director Sundar C’s plan to remake the Malayalam political drama Vellimoonga with the director himself as the lead. This project will be directed by Sundar C’s assistant, Venkat and heroine Poonam Bajwa is touted to romance this Aranmanai man.

This feature will hold music composed by Siddharth Vipin and sources hint that the composition of two tracks has already been completed.

The team is planning to start shooting from the 11th of March in locations in and around the city of Tirunelveli. This film will be produced by Sundar C’s home production Avni Cinemax. The team’s previous film, Aranmanai 2 has been performing well through its second week too. Behindwoods’ Chennai City box-office report has declared a ‘hit’ verdict to this horror flick.
