According to the post-mortem reports, the police have confirmed this as a suicide and her husband, Hemnath to whom the actress got married to reportedly two months ago is under police custody.
Chitra had rose to more fame with her serial Pandian Stores as Mullai which had a huge fanbase. Post the untimely demise, the serial’s shoot resumed and the Pandian Stores family paid their last respect to the actress before starting their shoot.
We had earlier reported that Chithu’s scenes would be telecasted till Tuesday (December 22) and from today onwards the new Mullai, Kaavya Arivumani will be seen. A video of the same where the Pandian Stores family can be seen introducing the new Mullai to the viewers is going viral!
