Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsActress Chitra Kamaraj passed away on December 9, yesterday. The cause of death has been investigated and according to the preliminary postmortem reports, her death has been pronounced to have been by suicide.
It is not a lesser known fact that her fame and popularity which rose recently was all credits to the famous family drama serial in Vijay Tv - 'Pandian Stores'. She played one of the leading roles , along with actors Stalin, Venkat Ranganathan, Kumaran Thangarajan, Sujitha Dhanush and Hema Raj Sathish.
Venkat was unable to pay his respects to his late friend because he was stuck in Coimbatore. Actors Stalin, Kumaran, Sujitha and Shanthi Williams who played Chithu's mother in the serial paid their homage to the departed actress. Sujitha is seen breaking down and tearing up, saying that she feels like losing her own sister in the following video.
