Pahlaj Nihalani opens up about his next project based on the lifestyle of Vijay Mallya

Pahlaj Nihalani a former Chairman of Central Board of Film Certification is now back to his initial days as a filmmaker and this time he has a script bigger than ever. Reports suggest that he is working on a film based on Vijay Mallya's lifestyle which will cover the international scam in the film. The film is titled Rangeela Raja which Govinda playing the main lead in the film.

When asked about the film, "I have made a movie inspired by the life of Vijay Mallya, and Govinda is in the main lead, audiences will be surprised to see his new avatar. The movie will be completely entertaining" said the director.

He also went ahead and gave a brief about the film
“It is titled Rangeela Raja and it’s an out-and-out comedy. But the comedy of a kind never attempted by Govinda before. Unlike the streetwise comic characters, Govinda is famous for, he plays a very sophisticated character in Rangeela Raja...He has a double role. But he slips into four different characters. Audiences who have been waiting for Govinda’s comeback will be very pleased to see what he has done in ‘Rangeela Raja’. It is almost like a rebirth of Govinda and I feel happy to be doing his comeback film" stated Nihalani."

The film is expected to completed by August. With an interesting comeback reuniting Govinda and Pahlaj Nihalani after a gap of 30 years, let us wait and see how the film ventures out.

Metro director Ananda Krishnan takes a dig on CBFC head Pahlaj Nihalani

Recent reports revealed that ex - CBFC head, Pahlaj Nihalani has bought the distribution rights of Raai Laxmi's Julie 2. Director Ananda Krishnan's Metro was refused to be certified for television broadcast and hence the director took to Twitter to share his feelings on Pahlaj Nihalani releasing an 'A' certified film.

Ananda Krishnan posted, "#Metro movie Tv certification
Former CBFC head Mr. Pahlaj Nihalani,
to whom I mailed many times, when Mr. Mathiazhagan, Tamil Regional officer (who initially refused certification for theatre) refused Tv certification too.

My question & doubt to him was very simple
When Theatrical certification has an appeal for Regional officers decision i.e., 'revising committee'
why doesn't Tv certification has
it ?
He or his official representatives never replied any of my mails.

And now this former CBFC head returns to the movie business as the distributor of this wholesome family entertainer.
Exposing 6th.
