Later, he starred in Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum (2003), which won him the National Film Award for Best Child Artist.
Post the same, he has had ample opportunities to prove time and again of his acting prowess, and some of his latest films include Putham Pudhu Kaalai , Paava Kadhaigal, Oru Pakka Kathai in Tamil.
Up next, he has Jack and Jill in Malayalam awaiting release, and now he has his next project announced - a Tamil/Malayalam bilingual. The film has been titled ‘Rajni’ for the Malayalam release, and the tamil title is being awaited.
Kalidas will reportedly play the role of a Rajinikanth fan in the film, and we have the stellar cast of Namitha Pramod, Saiju Kurup, Ashwin Kumar, Karunakaran, and Reba Monica, amongst others. The movie is directed by Vinil Scariah Varghese, and is bankrolled by Sreejith KS and Blessy Sreejith. The movie is presented by the banner NAVARASA Films.
