It’s been revealed that Joker actor and Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix and girlfriend Rooney Mara are expecting their first child! Mara is rumoured to be about six months pregnant. The couple is currently quarantining at their Los Angeles home.
Joaquin Phoenix won the Best Actor Award at the 92nd Academy Awards for his riveting performance in Joker. The couple initially met while filming the 2013 movie "Her" and got engaged in 2019.
Phoenix in earlier interviews confessed that he had been instantly attracted to Mara but had misinterpreted the other’s shy personality as having negative feelings towards him.
"She's the only girl I ever looked up on the internet. We were just friends, email friends. I'd never done that. Never looked up a girl online," he was quoted as saying.
