Written and directed by Hari, presented by K. Balachander and produced by Pushpa Kandasamy under banner Kavithalayaa Productions, the film was a success at the Box office and the music was composed by Bharadwaj.
For the unversed, Ayya was Nayanthara’s debut in Kollywood and her “Oru Vaarthai” song became very famous then. However, when Behindwoods got in touch with Navya Nair and during the exclusive chat, the actress reconfirmed that she was the first choice actually but then was replaced by Nayanthara later.
When asked for why she rejected, Navya said that though there was no particular reason for it, she was then actually focussed into Malayalam cinema. She also revealed that she had rejected her acting offer in Chandramukhi as well. Watch here -
