THIS IS HAPPENING FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME IN THIS YEAR!

Every Friday is an important day for the film industry because that's when film releases happen.

Ever since the first release of this year in Tamil, (Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam - January 1), till the just concluded Diwali weekend (Kodi, Kaashmora - October 28), there has been at least one single release for every Friday. Today (4th November), is the first Friday of this year, which didn’t witness any Tamil film release.

Dhanush’s Kodi and Karthi’s Kaashmora will continue to have its run at the box office. Simbu’s Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada might probably be the next release (November 11).
