ARVIND SWAMI REVEALS HOW HIS MGR'S ROLE IN THALAIVI WAS DIFFERENT - SHARES NEW PICS!

The biopic which is going to release in three languages - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi had piqued up one’s interest right form the announcement of the project and the unbelievable transformations, the team is doing for the film.

On the technical front, Thalaivi is shot by Vishal Vittal while GV Prakash Kumar will be composing music for the film. Writer K.V. Vijayendra Prasad has co-written the script. To portray the Jayalalithaa's role, Kangana Ranaut reportedly took Bharathnatyam and Tamil diction lessons.

Apart from Kangana, Thalaivi also features actor Arvind Swamy as MGR. Now today, on his death anniversary, Arvind Swami has shared a tweet with his pics in MGR's role in the movie, with this statement: "It was not just an honour to play the role of Puratchi Thalaivar MGR, but a great responsibility.
