The recent buzz has been around the Jimikki Kammal song from the movie Velipadinte Pusthakam directed by Lal Jose starring Mohan Lal in the lead role. The song’s version by Sheril and team had gone viral and it has become an instant hit among audiences.
The latest is that, Malayalam Superstar Mohan Lal himself has released his own version of Jimikki Kammal for which he has decided to shake a leg. Mohan Lal took to social media and posted, “The song that has got everybody dancing have made me too to take a few steps . Here’s my version of#JimikkiKammal with the participants of dance challenge, and team Velipadinte Pusthakam.”
This version by Mohan Lal has the stylish and versatile actor in a red shirt dancing and celebrating the song with youngsters. A very innovative 3 minute video that also has him thanking audiences for the love and support that they have shown towards Jimikki Kammal.

During the 101 days celebration of Priyadarshan's superhit film Oppam, Superstar Mohanlal said that he has asked producer Antony Perumbavoor to act only in their films. Mohanlal, who was in a jovial mood went on to say that every movie having Antony Perumbavoor has become a super hit, be it Harikrishnans, Drishyam, Oppam or Pulimurugan.
He said that soon the producer might even appear in the lead role. Directors Priyadarshan, Joshiy, Sibi Malayil, Major Ravi, Alphonse Puthren and actors Prakash Raj, Nivin Pauly, Siddique, Maniyanpilla Raju, Mamukkoya were present during the event.
