TWO HEROINES FOR THIS PISTHA!

Pistha, the new film that began with a Pooja this morning has Metro Shirish as the hero. It is funded by a new producer Sambasivam for One Man Productions and directed by debutant Ramesh Baarathi who was the editor in Metro. Venkat Prabhu had revealed the first look of the film.

Talking about Pistha, Shrish says, “Pistha is a village based film. I have two heroines, Mrudula Murali (Ayal Njanalla with Fahadh Faasil) and Arundhati of Saithan fame. Shooting is all set to happen in Kumbakonam and Karaikudi and we are commencing on the 3rd of August. There are totally four songs composed by Dharan Kumar for whom this is his 25th film. All the songs have been composed and ready to be shot. I heard them and they all have come out very well. We have Yogi Babu, Sathish, Sendrayan, Swaminathan and others in the supporting cast. Since there was already a film titled Pistha, we had taken permission from them to have this title.”
