"MY NEXT PROJECT IS PETTA WITH RAJINIKATH" - STAR HEROINE JOINS!

Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film is Petta with Karthik Subbaraj. It is produced by Sun Pictures, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. 

The film shows off a massive cast list that includes Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasikumar, Trisha, Simran, Bobby Simhaa, Megha Akash, Sananth, J Mahendran, and many others.

Now, we have yet another young actress who has announced that she has also played a part in the film. Malavika Mohanan, who has acted predominantly in Malayalam films will be making her Tamil debut with Petta. 

She took to her Instagram page to make this announcement as she put up a picture of Petta's second look and captioned it - "It's with absolute delight and child-like glee that I announce my next project- 'Petta', with the main man of Indian cinema, Rajnikanth! ♥️♥️♥️ Directed by one of my favourite filmmakers, Karthik Subburaj, and produced by @sunpictures :)"

Malavika was recently seen in the Hindi-English film Beyond The Clouds directed by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi with music by AR Rahman. As the cast of Petta gets bigger, the excitement grows as wel!
