''VIJAY SIR, THEN TOLD HIM, I AM GONNA MISS YOU''

During an interesting conversation with Lyricist Vivek, on the experiences of working in Vijay 61, he shared with us some interesting information about Vijay's humble and down-to-earth nature.
 

Vivek opened up by saying, "There was one incident I witnessed when I went to the shooting spot. There was a small kid, who had to leave the shoot, as his scenes for that schedule got over. He had to join again after a few days or months, I guess. He was continuously crying and didn't want to leave the shoot. He then came to Vijay sir, to tell he's leaving, but Vijay sir found that he was crying. He asked the boy, why is he crying. But the kid was tight-lipped and didn't say anything to sir.
 

So, he went and asked the people, who brought him to the shoot about the reason for his sadness. They explained him the reason. Vijay sir immediately took the boy and made him sit on his lap and comforted him.

He told the boy that whenever he feels like coming to the shooting spot, he can come and he didn't have to cry for leaving. But the boy was still crying. Vijay sir, then told him, 'I am gonna miss you'. The boy was still seeing Vijay sir without telling anything. Then Vijay sir asked him, 'If I say I miss you, shouldn't you also say that you will miss me?'. After that, he took the boy and went all the way to his car, and sent him off. It was such a sweet gesture."
