Senior actor Radha Ravi, during the audio launch of Nayanthara’s ‘Kolaiyuthir Kaalam’ had passed derogatory comments about the lady Superstar and about women. The worst part of the event was that the audience were clapping for his misogynistic speech.
Meanwhile, KJR Studios, the producers of Nayanthara’s ‘Airaa’, took to Twitter to take their stand on the issue. They slammed actor Radha Ravi for his speech against Women. They said “Dear Sir, reputation cannot come by name. It has to come by your words and actions. We sincerely condemn Mr #RadhaRavi and will not cast him in any of our films and we will strongly advise our associates and friends in the industry not to cast him either.”
Vishal, Vignesh Shivan, Shanthanu, Chinmayi and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar had also voiced out their support towards Nayanthara. Radha Ravi has also been suspended from his party DMK, post his speech at the trailer launch event.
