Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films along with Passion Studios have co-produced the movie ‘Penguin’, which stars Keerthy Suresh as the lead. We had earlier reported that the movie will be releasing online directly and will not have a theatrical release. Here’s an official update on the release date.
‘Penguin’ is all set start streaming in the OTT platform Amazon Prime video from the 19th of June this year, in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Producer Karthik Subbaraj took to Twitter, saying “She is destined to rise on 19th June! Join her on an adventure on @PrimeVideoIn #PenguinOnPrime #WorldPremiereOnPrime.”
Keerthy Suresh will be playing the role of a pregnant woman in the movie, which is directed by Eashvar Karthic. Santhosh Narayanan has crooned the music, while Kharthik Palani has donned the cameraman’s hat. Anil Krish has handled the cuts. Stay tuned
