Kattappanayile Rithik Roshan and Ore Mugham postponed

The makers of two Malayalam movies which were scheduled to release on November 11th has postponed their release to next week foreseeing the aftereffects of unavailability of 100 rupee notes in bulk.

The movies Kattappanayile Rithik Roshan directed by Nadirsha (Amar Akbar Anthony fame) and Ore Mugham starring Vineeth Sreenivasan's younger brother Dhyan Sreenivasan had everything ready for releasing on 11th, but the makers fear that people might not be interested in watching movies until the currency flow becomes stable. Also after looking into reports that the collection of Pulimurugan has declined after the demonetization of 500 and 1000 rupee notes, they decided to postpone the release to 18th November.

The Kattappanayile Rithik Roshan team started circulating posters designed using the tagline "Naatile chillara prashnangalal njangalude Kattappanayile Rithik Roshan November 18ne theateril ethu" which is a hilarious take on the issue as "chillara" means change. This is the first time such a thing has happened in Malayalam film industry.
