A prime example is the version sung by Nochipatti Thirumoorthy, which has grabbed the attention of many, including that of the song's composer D. Imman.
Recently, a video of a policeman performing a guitar version of the song has gone viral. The cop was based from Kerala's Kannur district.
'Kannana Kanne' lyrics are penned by Thamarai and the song explores the relationship between a father and daughter. The song is present in the soundtrack of Siruthai Siva directed Viswasam, which stars Ajith Kumar and Nayanthara as leads.
