KANGANA RANAUT DISMISSES RUMOURS ABOUT THALAIVI RELEASE; SHARES IMPORTANT UPDATE!

The movie, which is a biopic of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa was slated to release on April 23, 2021 in theatres but owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release date had to be pushed.
With several rumours high in the air regarding the release of this film, the 'Queen' actress took to her Instagram story to refute rumours about the same and said, "No release date has been finalised for Thalaivi yet, please refrain from rumours."
She also added, "We will release the film as and when cinemas open all across the country." Apart from Kangana donning the role of J Jayalalithaa, the movie also stars Arvind Swami who will be playing the role of former Tamil Nadu CM MG Ramachandran.
The makers of the movie and Kangana Ranaut earlier announced that the movie has been given a 'U' certificate without cuts. 'Thalaivi' will be released in three languages including Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
