Henri Langlois, legendary French film activist and cinephile is said to be the pioneer in film preservation. Recently, Padmabhushan Dr. Kamal Haasan was honoured with an award under Henri Langlois’s name in France for his conribution to Indian cinema.

To share the happiness with his fans, Kamal Haasan tweeted stating, “Received the Henri Langloise award in Paris . Wish Ananthu sir my guru had been alive to hear this. Heard of Langloise only through him”
