AFTER IRUDHI SUTTRU, A FULL LENGTH COMEDY FILM

Raja Mandhiri (RM) is an upcoming film directed by Usha Krishnan who had worked under director Suseenthiran in films like Jeeva. Kalaiarasan plays the lead in RM supported by Kaali Venkat, Balasaravanan and others. The film is produced by Mathiazhagan along with cinematographer PG Muthiah who is also the DoP of the film. Justin Prabhakaran is the music director.

Kaali Venkat who is fresh from the success of Irudhi Suttru updates on the film, “After a long gap, Raja Mandhiri will be a complete comedy drama. Films on relationships have become a rarity these days and this film will talk loudly about that. It will have all the entertainment factors in place perfectly. This will be an important film in my career. Balasaravanan plays the main comedian role in RM and you will see a new version of his humor in this film. He has attempted a different style from his usual pattern and it has worked out well. I am saying this after seeing the final output. I am sure RM will be spoken for its simplicity. For Kalaiarasan also, this is his first film as a full fledged hero and he has done well”.    

Raja Mandhiri is planned for an April release.
