According to the post-mortem reports, the police have confirmed this as a suicide and the investigation is going on to find out the real truth behind this. Chitra had rose to more fame with her serial Pandian Stores.
The serial that was being aired in Vijay TV had grabbed huge audiences’ attention who tried never to miss any episodes. And there was a huge fanbase for the Mullai character that was essayed by the late actress Chitra.
Now, post the untimely demise, the serial’s shoot resumed from yesterday (November 11) and the Pandian Stores family paid their last respect to the actress. Meanwhile, rumours had been floating that Sharanya Turadi would be seen as Mullai from now on.
Taking to her social media, Sharanya herself has clarified that this news is not true at all and would never be able to replace Mullai. She further stated that “She (Mullai) earned her recognition as Mullai with her impeccable performance which would be remembered forever. I respect that and I would rather let that be..”
