The film is produced by Nitin Sathyaa under the banner Shvedh Group. Apart from the leads, Lockup has Venkat Prabhu in a pivotal role. The film features music by Arrol Coreli and has Santhanam Sekar handling the camera. The teaser of the film has been released now by actor Jayam Ravi.

Among the teasers which try to push in all the elements a film has to offer in a tightly packed 1 minute, the teaser of Lockup stands out, not just because of Gautham Menon's iconic voice, but in various other aspects too.

Right from the beginning of the teaser, there is a single tone set with the help of the suspenseful music and the intensity seen in Vaibhav's face. There is an intelligent voice over which gives the conceptual idea behind the film, and we have to admit, even a normal dialogue becomes much more powerful when it is heard in Gautham Menon's voice.

Apart from the ample impressive action scene, the clear shots, edgy editing, and the colorful lighting do elevate the mystical features dormant in the teaser, which quickly comes under the spotlight after the hologram/ghost-like appearance of Venkat Prabhu. With the curious amount of emphasis on knives and 'mistakes' there is surely a lot of expectations to see what more this intriguing film has to offer after its gripping teaser.
