Gautham Menon came in live on his Instagram handle to have a brief interaction with his followers, where he gave some amazing insights on his current and possible future projects. The director thanked the fans for the birthday wishes and for the love his film VTV is receiving even after 10 years of release.

When a question of the possibility of VTV 2 was raised, Gautham broke that VTV sequel is in the pipeline. "Karthick's journey and what he will be doing after these 10 years will be showcased in the film. If Simbu says yes, we will make the film" said Gautham. Another follower asked him, "If not Simbu, who is your choice for VTV 2?" and the director replied that VTV 2 will happen only if Simbu agrees. "It is the journey of Kartick and I cannot swap the face of the character" he stated.
