Iruttu Araiyil Morattu Kuththu was one of the most talked about films this year, because of the content it carried. Adult movies are rare in Tamil Cinema, but Santhosh P Jayakumar made back to back adult comedies in the form of Hara Hara Mahadevaki and IAMK, and shot to fame.
Now the film is going to be remade in Telugu, starring Adith Arun in the lead role. Santhosh P Jayakumar will be donning the director's hat once again. The Telugu version is titled Chikati Gadilo Chitha Kotudu.
Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthuthu had Gautham Karthik, Yaashikaa Aanand, Chandrika Ravi, and Vaibhavi Shandilya in the lead roles, while Shah-Ra played a crucial supporting role. The film performed well at the box-office.
