FILM INDUSTRY TO BE CLOSED TOMORROW IN TWO STATES

As a mark of respect to director Dasari Narayana Rao, the Telugu Film Chamber Of Commerce has decided to close the industry tomorrow, 31st May. Pawan Kalyan has apparently canceled shoot of his next film for 3 days to pay respect to the legendary director. Actor Krishna has requested his fans not to celebrate his birthday tomorrow. It is also said that the first look of Mahesh Babu’s Spyder will also be postponed to a different date.

"TELUGU FILM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce expresses its deep shock a. Profound grief at the sudden demise of our beloved Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao. The Film Chamber conveys the heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family of Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao and pray for his soul to rest in peace.

Dr.Dasari Narayan Rao was born on 4-5-1942 at Palakollu, W.G.District, Andhra Pradesh and started his career as a Film Director with the film 'Thatha Manavadu' and was awarded A.P.State Nandi Award for the same.Since then he never looked back, and he produced 53 films on the banner M/s.Tharaka Prabhu Films. He directed and produced films with many eminent personalities like N.T.R, A.N.R. Mohan Babu, Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, etc.

He also entered the media as an Editor and Publisher for 'UDAYAM' newspaper. He served the nation as a State Union Minister and M.P. Rajya Sabha. He holds Limca Book of World Records for number of films directed by one individual; he has been conferred with N.T.R.National Award given by the A.P.State Government and many more awards of Central and State Governments. He served as a President of Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, Telugu Film Producers Council, South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, etc.

As a mark of respect to the departed soul Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao, all activities of the Telugu film Industry remain closed tomorrow (31-5-2017) in both the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
