FANS WANT AR RAHMAN FOR THALAPATHY 61!

Though it was always a known fact that Atlee would be directing Vijay’s next, the official announcement was only made a couple of days ago. Sri Thenandal Films will be funding this venture and the script has been locked. Other cast and crew details have not been revealed yet.

Names like AR Rahman and GV Prakash Kumar are apparently considered to score music for the film. But it is still unsure who will eventually be roped in for this project. Behindwoods recently conducted a Twitter poll asking which music director would be the ideal person to compose music for Thalapathy 61.

AR Rahman - 32%
Anirudh - 29%
GV Prakash - 26%
Yuvan Shankar Raja - 13%

Looks like fans want AR Rahman to team up with Vijay once again after Udhaya and Azhagiya Thamizh Magan. Let’s hope that happens soon.
