The director began with a film featuring several child artists, and Vimal as the lead - the movie Pasanga was a massive hit commercially and also won many awards, including the National award for the Best Screenplay.
Pandiraj’s second movie Vamsam had debutant Arulnithi and Sunaina play the main roles. Post this, Pandiraj started his own production studio under the name of Pasanga Productions. His first production was Marina, the movie that marked the debut of Sivakarthikeyan.
What followed next was a series of popular films Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Pasanga 2, Idhu Namma Aalu, Kathakali, Kadaikutty Singam and Namma Veetu Pillai.
Pandiraj recently celebrated his birthday (7 June). Marking his gratitude for all the good wishes, the director tweeted, "Feel immense happy to thank everybody wishing me on this special day. All Media people, Film personalities, Fans of all my beloved stars, Friends & Wellwishers. Meet u with a surprise announcement soon."
His ending statement is not the only thing that has excited fans - along with the tweet, the director has also attached a image of a script, and diving deep into the image, we could find transcripts of the title card amongst others. Check out his tweet here and keep waiting for his surprise!
