AFTER SPEAKING FOR AMY IN THERI....

Popular voice-over artist Raveena’s work in the recently released Theri (for Amy Jackson) was much appreciated and the young beautiful girl, as conveyed to behindwoods earlier, is debuting as heroine in Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu (OKKM) produced by Eros International Private Limited. The film is directed by Suresh Sangaiah, where Vidharth plays the hero.

Raveena opens up about what made her choose OKKM as her debut vehicle, “I had been getting a few offers from Tamil and Malayalam past two years. Honestly, Eros international banner was an attraction to accept the call for an audition. When I went there, I was happy and surprised to know that the director had already fixed me in his mind months back when I was busy with my dubbing works. My mom felt this would be a perfect one for an entry to create a foundation for my acting career, as it's an interesting subject and a great banner”.

Sharing her thoughts on being in front of the arc lights, Raveena says, “Dubbing has always been inside a studio, all alone in front of the mike with no lights on. I was a little nervous to be suddenly in front of lights, camera, huge crowd and a number of combination artists, but the whole unit and the director are so friendly and supportive to calm my fears. I'm able to manage whatever the director wants from me. Vidharth sir is of great help; he's a brilliant actor and a good friend. The entire set lightens up when he arrives. Cameraman Saran is also very helpful and supportive”.

About her role, Raveena states, “This is a very homely innocent character which I really liked. I would like to do trendy roles that'll suit me. As any other new comer I also dream of being paired with the stars”.

The unit is currently shooting in Aruppukottai and would be stationed there till the 2nd week of May.
