CONFUSION: WHO IS DIRECTING VIJAY SETHUPATHI NOW?

Cinematographer Priyan has been a part of many interesting films such as Porkaalam, Desiya Geetham, Vetri Kodi Kattu, Thotta Chinungi, Vijay's Velayutham, Vishal's Thirmuru and Thoranai to name some. He is generally director Hari’s regular in his films and has been a part of the yesterday’s release Singam 3 too.

Certain sections of the media had reported that Priyan would be directing Vijay Sethupathi for a film that would be produced by Nandhagopal of Madras Entertainment.

When we checked with Priyan, he denied this news outright and said, “I am not directing a film now. There is someone by the name of Shanmuga Priyan who is doing this and this has started the confusion.”
