DIRECTOR SHANKAR TO TRY THIS GENRE FOR THE FIRST TIME; EXCITING GRAND NEWS INDEED

While he is collaborating with Kamal Haasan for Indian 2, the shooting of the same has been put on a hold since ‘Nammavar’ has turned his attention towards Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram. It is to be noted that Lokesh is fresh from the success of Master that starred Vijay in the lead.
This is indeed an exciting piece of news and we can’t wait to see the magic Shankar unfurls especially at a genre he hasn’t tried before.
Coming to Indian 2, the film also stars Sidharth, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet in pivotal roles. Anirudh scores music. Anirudh scores music for Vikram as well.
Shankar had last directed Endhiran 2 aka 2.0 that had starred Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in the lead and had put up a good show at the box office.
